The studio started the way most do — one piece made for one room, because nothing on the shelf was the right weight or the right colour. That turned into a second piece, then a small run, and eventually a short list of forms worth making again.
Nothing here is bought in and relabelled. Colour runs through each piece rather than sitting on the surface waiting to chip, and every one is sanded, sealed and checked by hand before it is packed.
That is why the catalogue is short and why nothing ships the same day. We would rather make a handful of things properly than a hundred things quickly.
